RIX DBH D12 Thermal Imaging Riflescope
$13,999.00 GST
The RIX DBH D12 Thermal Imaging Riflescope puts a 1280×1024 sensor under 15mK behind a 75mm lens, with 3–20× magnification, a laser rangefinder that reads to 1200 m and a 2560×2560 OLED display. A green laser pointer and ballistic calculator are built in. It is the 1280 model in the RIX DBH series, made for long shots across open country. It weighs about 1.6kg and has no external USB power, so carry spare 18650 cells for long nights.
RIX DBH D12 Features
1280 sensor and 75mm lens
The 1280×1024 sensor has four times the pixels of a 640, and the 75mm lens puts more of them on an animal at distance. That extra detail helps you identify the animal and pick your shot before you zoom in.
Range, mark and hold
The laser rangefinder reads to 1200 m (±1m). The green laser pointer marks an animal so your spotter can see it, and the ballistic calculator, with five profiles, gives you a hold point.
Built for rough weather
The D12 has a 6061-T6 aluminium body an IP67 seal and a DLC coating. Focus can be set from either side of the scope.
Record and share
Video and audio record to 64GB of built-in memory. Recoil-activated video catches the shot, picture-in-picture shows a magnified window, and the RIX+ app streams the view to your phone.
Two 18650 batteries
Two removable 18650 cells give about 7 hours, and they go in either way round. There is no USB-C external power on the D12.
DBH D12 or Leap L12R?
Both have a 1280 sensor. The D12 adds a longer 75mm lens, a 2560×2560 display and a green laser pointer, in a heavier scope. The RIX Leap L12R has a 60mm lens with 2–6× optical zoom. You can compare every RIX 1280 option on the RIX 1280 thermal scopes page.
