RIX Tourer T50 4K Digital Day & Night Scope
$1,499.00 GST
The RIX Tourer T50 4K Digital Day & Night Scope uses a 3840×2160 digital sensor behind a 50mm F1.2 lens, with 3.5× base magnification, digital zoom to 28× and a 1500 m laser rangefinder. It shows a colour image by day and a night vision image in low light. It is the current model in the RIX Tourer series. This is digital night vision, not thermal: the T50 has no built-in infrared illuminator, so add an IR torch for dark nights.
RIX Tourer T50 Features
4K sensor for day and night
The 3840×2160 sensor and F1.2 lens give a sharp colour picture in daylight. As light drops, the scope switches its IR-cut filter so the sensor can see infrared light from an IR torch. Night Forest and Night Field modes tune the image for scrub close in or open paddocks.
Rangefinder and ballistic calculator
Range out to 1500 m (±1m), and the ballistic calculator uses that distance to give a hold point. You don’t need to carry a separate rangefinder.
Records the shot
Video and photos save to 64GB of built-in memory. Recoil-activated video records the moments before and after the shot.
21700 battery, about 6.5 hours
The T50 runs on a 21700 cell for about 6.5 hours and takes an 18650 with an adapter sleeve. USB-C gives external power.
Tourer T50 or a thermal scope?
The T50 shows a natural image, so you see colour, markings and detail by day and under IR at night. A thermal scope picks up heat, so it finds animals in the dark and through light scrub without a torch. See the RIX thermal scopes if heat detection matters more to you.
