The RIX Glint G3 Thermal Imaging Riflescope pairs a 384×288 sensor under 20mK with a 35mm F0.9 lens, a 60Hz frame rate and a 1500 m laser rangefinder. A ballistic calculator is built in, and the image shows on a 1920×1080 OLED display. It is the middle model in the RIX Glint series, with more detail than the 256 G2. The G3 has digital zoom only, so for optical zoom compare the RIX Leap series.
RIX Glint G3 Features
384 sensor and a fast F0.9 lens
The 384×288 sensor and wide F0.9 lens pick up small heat differences, which helps you separate an animal from warm ground or scrub. The 60Hz frame rate keeps the picture smooth as you track.
Range out to 1500 m
The laser rangefinder measures to 1500 m (±1m), so you know the distance before you commit to a shot.
Hold point on screen
The ballistic calculator takes the measured range and shows where to hold, which saves working out drop in your head at night.
Weather Mode for damp nights
Humidity, fog and rain soften a thermal image. Weather Mode adjusts the processing to keep animals standing out from the background.
21700 or 18650 power
The G3 comes set up for a 21700 cell and also takes an 18650. You can charge the battery inside the scope through USB.
