The Pulsar Talion XQ35 PRO is a compact 384 thermal scope for close and mid-range work, with a 2.5–10× zoom range, a sensitive sensor that holds detail in fog and humidity, and long run time from its APS 5T battery. It sits on a Weaver-style rail mount and joins our range of 384 thermal scopes.
What You Get with the Pulsar Talion XQ35 PRO
The XQ35 PRO suits hunters working scrub, timber and paddock edges at night, where a wide view and quick target pick-up matter more than long reach. At 330 mm long and 0.82 kg with the battery, it keeps a light rifle balanced and handy from a vehicle or on foot.

Sensor and image
The 384×288 microbolometer has a 17 µm pixel pitch and refreshes at 50 Hz behind a 35 mm F/1.0 lens. Sensor NETD is under 25 mK and system NETD is under 15 mK, so animals stand out clearly when the air is damp or the temperature difference is small. Nine colour palettes and three sensitivity levels (Normal, High and Ultra) let you set the picture for the night.

Zoom, field of view and detection
Smooth digital zoom runs from 2.5× to 10×. The 10.7° horizontal field of view covers 18.7 m at 100 m for scanning, and a deer-sized animal can be detected out to 1350 m.
Display and eyepiece
An AMOLED display gives a high-contrast picture (1440×1080 on current production units). Eye relief is 50 mm, the dioptre adjusts from -3 to +4, and the display can be dimmed or switched off between looks.
Zeroing and ballistics
Five zeroing profiles each hold ten distances. Freeze zeroing and zoom zeroing, which shrinks the click value as you zoom in, make sighting in quicker. A built-in ballistic calculator, scalable reticles and a three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope for tilt indication help with shot placement.

Batteries and power
Two removable APS 5T battery packs (4900 mAh) are supplied, each giving up to 9 hours at 22 °C, with a charger in the box. USB-C Power Delivery at 5 V or 9 V lets you run or top up the scope from a power bank. See our Pulsar batteries and chargers.
Built for recoil and weather
The scope handles recoil up to 6000 J on rifled calibres, including .375 H&H and 9.3×64, and 12 gauge on smoothbores. It carries IPX7 water protection and works from -25 °C to +50 °C.

Recording and app
Photos and video with sound save to 16 GB of internal memory, and recording can start automatically on recoil. Dual-band Wi-Fi links the scope to the Stream Vision 2 app for live viewing, remote control, cloud storage and firmware updates.
Mounting
The Talion uses a rail-mount system rather than 30 mm rings and ships without a mount. Choose a Weaver U, Weaver USQD or Weaver LQD mount from our Pulsar mounts.

Talion XQ35 PRO or Trail 3 LRF XQ50?
Both use a 384 sensor on a rail mount. The Talion XQ35 PRO is the lighter, more compact option with a wider view for close country. The Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XQ50 adds a 50 mm lens for more reach and a built-in 1200 m laser rangefinder. If you want a higher-resolution Talion, see the Pulsar Talion XG35.

FAQ
Does the Talion XQ35 PRO fit 30 mm rings?
No. It uses a Weaver U, USQD or LQD rail mount, sold separately.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 9 hours per APS 5T pack at 22 °C, and two packs are supplied. Wi-Fi and recording use extra power.
Does it have a rangefinder?
No. For a built-in rangefinder in a 384 rail-mount scope, look at the Trail 3 LRF XQ50.
What calibres can it handle?
Up to 6000 J on rifled calibres, including .375 H&H and 9.3×64, and 12 gauge on smoothbores.
Can I record and stream?
Yes. It records photo and video with sound to 16 GB of internal memory and streams to the Stream Vision 2 app over Wi-Fi.
How far can it detect an animal?
A deer-sized animal can be detected out to 1350 m. Identification distance is shorter and depends on conditions.
