The Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XT60 is a 1280 thermal scope that pairs a high-resolution sensor with a wide 2× starting view, a built-in 1200 m laser rangefinder and two batteries on board. It mounts in standard 30 mm rings like a day scope and sits in our range of 1280 thermal scopes.
What You Get with the Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XT60
The XT60 suits hunters who want to scan wide country at low magnification and still have the sensor detail to zoom in on a target. The 1280×1024 sensor holds image detail as you zoom further.
Rangefinder built into the housing
The laser rangefinder is built into the scope body, keeping the profile compact. It measures out to 1200 m with ±1 m accuracy and offers single, scan and rangefinding modes, with the distance able to feed straight into the ballistic calculator.

Sensor and image
The 1280×1024 microbolometer has a 12 µm pixel pitch and refreshes at 50 Hz, behind a 60 mm F/1.0 lens. Nine colour palettes, three amplification levels and a smoothing filter let you tune the picture to the conditions.

Zoom and focus rings
Magnification runs from 2× to 24× and is controlled by a zoom ring with a throw lever, so you can change power smoothly without taking your eye off the target. The ring direction can be reversed in the menu. Focus sits on a top turret that works with either hand. A rectangular or round picture-in-picture window can show a magnified view alongside the full frame.

AMOLED display and eyepiece
A 2560×2560 AMOLED display gives a sharp, high-contrast picture. Eye relief is 65 mm, the dioptre adjusts from -4.5 to +3.5, and magnetic day and night eyecups are supplied. A proximity sensor turns the display off when you move your eye away to save power and keep light off your face.

Two batteries
The scope carries a built-in APS5 battery plus a removable APS5 battery, giving up to 8.5 hours at 22 °C. Spare APS5 packs swap in the field, and USB-C Power Delivery at 5 V or 9 V lets you run or charge it from a power bank. See our Pulsar batteries and chargers.

Controls you can find by feel
A rear control wheel and well-spaced buttons make menu changes possible without looking, and the supplied remote can be mounted on the rifle. Ten scalable reticles, ten zeroing profiles and three zeroing methods (one-shot, zoom and freeze) are built in.

Recording and app
Video and photos are recorded at 1440×1080 with sound to 128 GB of internal memory, with recoil-activated and shadow recording options. Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect to the Stream Vision 2 and Stream Vision Ballistics apps for live view, file transfer, ballistic profiles and firmware updates.

Thermion 3 compared with Thermion 2
Compared with the earlier Thermion 2 LRF range, such as the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL60, the Thermion 3 adds a zoom ring with a throw lever, a 2560×2560 AMOLED display, a second built-in battery and USB-C Power Delivery, and gains the round picture-in-picture mode.
Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XT60 or XR60?
The XR60 uses a 640×480 sensor with a 4–40× range, a narrower field of view and a 14-hour run time. The XT60 gives a wider view and four times the sensor pixels.

Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XT60 FAQ
Does the Thermion 3 LRF XT60 come with a mount?
No. It has a 30 mm tube and fits standard 30 mm rings or a 30 mm one-piece mount.
How far does the rangefinder read?
Up to 1200 m, depending on the target and conditions, with ±1 m accuracy.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 8.5 hours at 22 °C using both the built-in and removable APS5 batteries. Wi-Fi, recording and rangefinder use shorten this, as does cold weather.
Can I use a power bank?
Yes. The USB-C port supports Power Delivery at 5 V and 9 V for running or charging in the field.
Does it have a ballistic calculator?
Yes. Enter your ammunition details in the Stream Vision Ballistics app and the scope can adjust the aim point using the rangefinder distance.
Is it waterproof?
It carries IP67 protection against dust and water immersion, and works from -25 °C to +50 °C.
