RG-6000 – Our Highest Puncture and Cut Resistant Fabric
Made from specially formulated UHMWPE HMPE fibres to produce high strength
Material: Made from a specially formulated type of high grade UHMWPE HMPE yarn designed for maximum cutting and puncture resistance. The yarn used to manufacture our RG-6000 fabric offers great advantages over traditional materials. It is stronger than mild steel on a weight to weight ratio and up to 40 percent stronger and lighter than Aramid fibers (Kevlar is a brand of Aramid fibre). Weave: Tightly Knitted and doesn’t fray. Threads also do not travel!

Weight: 600 grams per square meter, perfectly weighted for pig dog vests. This limits manufacture time by only needing one or 2 layers for ultimate protection.
Thickness: 1.2mm per layer
Water Resistance: Doesn’t readily hold water and floats making pig dog vests weightless when in water. This will greatly help any dog that catches a pig in water. Unlike Aramid type materials like Kevlar and Seat belt type webbings; which absorb water and sink.
UV Resistance: Very high UV Resistance. Aramid type materials rapidly lose strength when exposed to UV radiation.
Flexibility: 10/10 – Unbelievable Flexibility
Use Recommendations: Layers used for protection against Boars – 1 or 2 layers is all that’s needed for the ultimate protection level far exceeding that of other materials typically used in pig dog vests.
Safety: NON-TOXIC and %100 safe for use on the skin or in the body. The same type of substance is used in medical equipment that is placed inside the body. It is likely the safest material available for use on pig dogs. Any questions feel free to email us at admin@ripguard.com.au
